PAMELA LYNN WILL PERFORM AT INTERNATIONAL DRUM FESTIVAL

April 26-27, 2008 - Nanaimo Songwriter/World Percussionist, Pamela Lynn will be one of the Headline Performers at the 2008 Cape Breton International Drum Festival, in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Pamela will perform selections from her album, "Fearless & Feminine" (ACM Records), as well as introducing new material. Top entertainers from around the World will perform at this highly regarded, 8th annual event. Among others, the line-up will feature Alan White, drummer with Yes, David Langguth of Nelly Furtado fame, and Michael Shrieve, known for his work with Carlos Santana, George Harrison, the legendary Carmine Appice and world renowned Drummer / Motivational Speaker Dom Famularo.

Summer 2008 - Violet Femmes

Pamela Lynn is pleased to announce that she has been chosen to be part of the "Violet Femmes" Compilation CD.

INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS FEATURED ON VIOLET FEMMES, VOLUME 1
Volume 1 celebrates talented female artists from around the world. Women from around the world come together on this phenomenal new compilation CD.

Artists from Australia, Venezuela, Denmark, the Netherlands, Japan, the US and Canada come together for this auditory experience. The sounds and personalities on this album are as diverse as the soil they spring from. Rock, electronic, pop, singer / songwriter and spoken word meld together in a common human expression of personal power and passion.Slated for release in September 07, here are the steel angels so far, the Violet Femmes. There are plans for a series of concerts in Vancouver B.C. featuring artists from the CD. There will be a Violet Femmes Festival in the summer of 2008.

2008 - New album in progress!

Pamela is now developing and expanding upon her current creative threads by creating her next album. This album will feature 12 ethereal vocal tracks uniquely blended with her world/beat signature style.

Empowerment Drumming: Rhythms for Wellness

Women: group drumming is exciting, uplifting and empowering. It's also good for your health! Now you can empower your life and improve your health with a fun activity that takes no musical talent or know-how and will leave you laughing, energized and filled with a sense of well-being. This is a six week program.

Length: Six 1.5-hour sessions.

Age group: 18+
Spring Classes: May 5-16/08 CLASS FULL!
Time: Mondays, 6:30 - 8:00 PM
