Biography

Pamela Lynn is known internationally as an accomplished World Percussionist, singer, songwriter and educator in the field of World / New Age Music. Pamela's unique and captivating sound was developed by fusing the interwoven sounds of West African and Middle Eastern rhythms with her own contemporary style.

Pamela has recently signed with ACM Records, a New York based record company. Pamela's new solo album is entitled "Fearless and Feminine: A Voice of Intuitive Rhythms." Pamela has created a reflective collection of original compositions. From energetic, complex drumming to sensitive, captivating vocals.

An instructional CD called, "Essential Rhythms For Personal Empowerment" was released early in 2006. Pamela designed the twenty energetic rhythms to inspire and encourage the listener's natural creativity, and help them take their first steps toward Freestyle Drumming. For every "Rhythms for Empowerment" CD sold, Pamela donates 100% of all online sales directly to Osenase Orphanage Home.

Pamela has a natural sense of artistry that enables her to be a dynamic entertainer and an inspirational teacher. While progressing with her own skills, Pamela has been inspired by many respected performers and teachers: artists such as Glen Velez, Pete Lockett, Kobi Hagoel, and Hossam Ramzy. She also completed advanced training with internationally renowned master facilitators, Arthur Hull and Cameron Tummel, and graduated from Remo's HealthRHYTHMS® Program, conducted by Dr. Barry Bittman, Medical Research Neurologist, and Christine Stevens, lecturer and Music Therapist.

Pamela understands and embraces issues facing women around the world, and expresses her concerns through her music as well as being an active supporter of efforts to raise awareness and address these issues. On her latest CD, "A Voice of Intuitive Rhythms," Pamela pledges a portion of her sales to Equality Now, an international women's human rights organization.

Her mission is to make a significant contribution to society by living a life of social conscience, while following her passion for drumming.
